Verizon Google Voicemail - some vm still goes to VZ - Android

i tried GV a few months ago and got frustrated when a message was improperly relayed through Verizon, which sent an indication to my Droid. Fast forward a few months and Im giving GV another try. Its been working OK for about 3 weeks, then today I got another Verizon VM indication. I switched back to Verizon VM, listened to the message, and the indicator is gone.
